How Much Does a Private Chef Cost in Toronto (2026)?

My starting prices
I get asked this first, so here it is up front. These are my starting prices per person for 2026:
Fine Dining (individually plated): from $175 per person, minimum 8 guests. Global Fusion Tasting Menu: from $195 per person, minimum 10 guests. Family-Style Buffet: from $120 per person, minimum 20 guests. Small Gathering (2–9 guests): quoted per event.
What's included
The price covers the groceries, my equipment, cooking in your kitchen, serving your guests and cleaning up afterwards. You provide the kitchen, some fridge and counter space, and your plates and glassware.
There is a $250 non-refundable booking fee, and full payment confirms your date. The full cancellation terms are on my FAQ.
What changes the final price
The starting price moves with the menu itself: premium proteins like wagyu, extra courses, and how complex the plating is. Guest count matters too, because each style has its own minimum.
